We’ve seen the news on Dallas, Atlanta, and the 7 other sites (and potentially closing those down by 2026), but we still have a lot of people in places like Kansas City, Houston, Denver, San Antonio, Chicago, etc. While I can read between the lines, and know there are customer-facing roles in those markets, but are they really telling those people to move to a hub city?
If they need to go down 15%, you can easily stack-rank low-performers in Dallas alone (start at CEO) and then close up more remote markets to reduce real estate and higher employee costs. There are not enough seats or parking to make Dallas the collaborative, relationship-building Utopia they are trying to sell.
