Full remote options

I too am looking for a full remote job and I don't understand why so many people say that such an opportunity is easy to find? Definitely not so in my case.

Turn in your notice. We have someone who just turned in his 2 weeks notice and his manager told him she would let him WFH if he stayed.

Maybe those that have been successful in securing a remote job should share what type of work and/or where they are working to help a fellow person in the same situation. No, we are not after their job, but it might clear things up as to they type of work you were able to get.

Just keep trying. Don’t give up.

If you are highly valued on your team (by your manager), get an offer (that you would actually be willing to walk out for) from another company, present that to your manager, make them panic, and I bet they'd make a case for you.

The jobs are out there, maybe just not in every specialty.

Easy = there were good fits available when they were looking - it’s not like they did an objective analysis on ease of obtaining remote jobs

I accepted a position that’s full remote with a base pay bump and better bonus structure. The jobs are out there you just have to keep looking and applying.

Probably depends on your position.. family member in Finance has 3 interviews at different companies and they’re all remote.
