Just keep showing up where you work now and don’t worry about it. Don’t sign anything either. When they tell you to leave, apply for unemployment and check the rules on dismissal severance for management employees. I was craft for 23years and never went into management so I’m not sure if you get anything. I retired.

"...if you don't move with the work...". Not necessarily. There is a pretty good case for this scenario to be considered Constructive Dismissal which would likely be eligible for unemployment.

They can move the job...if you don't move with the work, then you quit. It wouldn't be the elimination of a position, it would just be moving it. So, If you opt to not follow the job they are offering you then that means you are quitting. Therefore, you would not be entitled to a severance and you would also not be entitled to unemployment...

That is not what policy says. Severance is paid in full within 45 days of signing documents. And yes, as long as you do not resign. I expect a class action lawsuit before EOY but you can also expect that this company will cease to exist in the next few years.
DO NOT RESIGN! They can not make you move and fire you without severance if you don't So many folks do not know what they are talking about.
