Clean-house: Who all remains to be displaced? Who is running this Dow 30 corporation? Who is being groomed as for backfill(s)?

"Everyone does “woke” as you call it. Somehow it didn’t break tmobile so it isn’t what broke Verizon."

Nonsense. Or your are not very familiar with this business. T-Mobile can play those games because they just mouth the words but provide excellent wireless service and even better customer service. They make their bills easy to understand and are constantly giving their subscribers 'freebees' from pizza to netflix to cooking lessons with their CEO.

Face it. VZ is a terrible provider now. Customer service is worse than marketing which is worse than the network now which is terrible because of the 5g dictates.

Time for a house clearing of the board of directors and all of the woke broke characters that Hans and his homies put in place. When you are as good as TMUS or as good as VZ used to be, then you can get away with that nonsense. But not when you are just a nonsense company.

“we believe that placing DE&I at the center of our Un-carrier culture inspires the kind of diversity of perspective, talent, and innovation that enables us to be the best workforce this industry has ever seen.” Mike Sievert
President and CEO

Pages and pages of all their initiatives esg, dei, support of the black community, and on and on.

@1rgb+1mJVCWFH. There’s a DEI slack channel . Check it out!
Hans started off thinking the strategy of let’s make vz the feel good company (esg/dei/blm and any other acronym) and this will drive new customers. He was the cool ceo.

At the same T mobile took a different strategy of let’s get aggressive with pricing, market the heck out of it and focus on gaining market share. They were successful.

Blackrock is under fire and on the run, as more and more states withdraw their pensions from Blackrock and forbid them to do business in their states. Larry Fink the fink is slowly backing away from the woke nonsense. Because so many pension funds rely in VZ Hans will be out of the chair before the end of the summer if the stock does not improve considerably and 5G does not take off as he has promised. Needless to say, Hans will be gone.

If T mobile had the deplorable stock performance like Vz has had during Hans’ the Board would have terminated him last year. T-Mobile Board is hard core engineers most w Telecom experience (and German).

The Verizon Board , until recently, were made up of ESG /DEI members with no Telecom or wireless experience and Hans is still at the helm.

See the problem? Years of bad decisions digs the VZ into a very deep hole and the employees pay the price through lay offs and cost reductions.

The Board must realize Hans should never have been the CEO of Verizon and that there is no real or viable plan to turn this around.

Look at all the NBA coaches just fired. One bad year or series and you’re gone.
Time for Hans.

@fhe+1mJVCWFH yes. The consultants not only cost Vz $$$but talent too. They recommended RIf'ing tenured people only because they were old and/or made too much. Led to brain drain. I like the opening of Call Centers back in the good old US of A. Sc--w Manila and the "kindly & look at my fancy, weird name& glam. shot" crowd and India and the "do the needful crowd and look for people here. Contrary to the MSM narrative there are people who want to work and get a start here in the US.

Make Smith the Chief Engineer and bar the door to the other Smith. Pay Legere a finders fee to find a winning Top 5 Executive leadership team. Put people in the know in charge and fire all of the execs playing ESG/DEI and other discriminatory games. Go into the New York City, Boston, Baltimore, Philly, and Virginia inner cities and find some young local men and women and train them to be techs. Open customer service call centers in Mississippi and Minnesota and close Bangalore. Promote from within and fire all of the consulting firms that have cost the company billions.
