Does anyone know how many third levels and above positions are outside the 9 hub locations? That would be non-customer facing positions who would potentially be required to relocate. Are there any VP positions that would need to relocate?
Just wondering if only level one & two management positions are in jeopardy which has largely been the case in the past.
What about L5/VPs? I’d they are not a market VP/GM, do they have to move?
Non-customer facing L4 in Chicago. I expect to be relocated to Dallas, although have not heard yet. I plan to rent a crash pad, when I hear for sure. Crash pads are cheap, I can't sell my home and move, wife would never approve. I would like to work for another 13 years, then return to Chicago. In all this turmoil, it's difficult to determine if I will be able to survive at at&t for 13 more years. I don't believe our financials are solid enough to get through the next two years. It's worse than I've ever seen it.

No offense to anyone, but having an experience of renting an apartment with a co-worker, I would never do it again. 1. That meant that you never really leave your work to "go home", and 2. If you actually work closely with them, it might end up causing tensions at work. So personally. I'd never do it again.
The sad part is that the directors and GMs willing to go to this length to keep their jobs are ones that can’t get work elsewhere. Which means you’re really not going to retain the best. You’re keeping the ones with no other options.

I'm as interested in signing a mortgage in a hub as AT&T would be in offering me an ironclad multi-year contract. Neither is happening.
I know my AVP isn't in one of the hubs and will probably have to relocate
My level 3 is getting an apartment in Atlanta to keep his job. But not relocating. Must be nice to be able to afford maintaining 2 households.
All L3+ not supporting a local market/ customer facing will be required to live in Dallas or Atlanta.
