They didn't get a VSP, they got laid off with the option to play musical chairs for a small number of roles.

Just because YOU made it know that you wouldn't oppose a layoff and were actually selected, does NOT make this a Voluntary Layoff. It was targeted, trust that. You got lucky.

Lmao that was the most word salad way of saying VSP. My org slack is popping lol. No word from leaders yet. Literally no info provided except for the names of the musical chairs and what they will be doing.

Some lucky individuals may have been asked if they were "ready" to leave - that makes THEIR separation voluntary - but for many many many who were notified today, it was NOT voluntary.
