Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

!!!HANS is the root of VZ problems!!!

!!!!HANS IS THE PROBLEM!!!!Anyone who has been around this company long should clearly be able to see that it is failing due to bad leadership. There is far too much corporate bloat as well. It has led to a breakdown in communications from the folks out in the field that know how to win over the customer, all the way up to senior leadership. Cost cutting under Hans has led to god-awful customer service and a cheapening of our Network reliability and expansion. All you have to do is look at the stock value of the company since he took the CEO position. A steady trend downward same as his time with Ericsson.

This outcome was entirely predictable. And was predicted by many who were fortunate enough to leave before the full doom set in.

But Hanz isn’t the problem. It’s the board that hired and continues to support him.

If he spent half the time on actually improving the business as he does making sure peoples pronouns are an option in slack we would be better off. This ESG nonsense has got to go.

lowell mcadam's destroyed this company not Hans.not that Hans is any better .The huge DEBT came from lowel buying buying the wireless stake from VodaphoneAOL,YAHOO.GO90,HUM HuGEsTelematics, and all the cr-ppy 5g spectrum that is useless ,that was all lowell and the VZ gave him a 60mill golden parachute,They should of gave him a golden kick in the AR-E,and promoted someone from within VZ..MAYBE the board wanted to destroy this company on purpose for some unknown reason

He's got a $40 million parachute, that is why he isn't resigning. They would have to let him go.
Once on an Up to Speed, he was asked why he "chose" Verizon to work for and he looked a bit embarrassed but answered that he waited for the right opportunity. Yeah, right. And that parachute had nothing to do with it - these guy all get big stock options and cash them in...they don't worry about being let go.

Why the Eff is this guy still around? The stock price has been terrible during his tenure, we've lost our market lead, and employee morale is the lowest I've seen in 25 years with the company.

I don't know how he's lasted this long. Lowell was bad too, but Hans really dropped the ball.

Not just bad leadership, but this guy really has no idea about what Verizon actually does. Remember, this guy was an accountant turned failed CEO of one of our wireless parts manufacturers. This guy has no clue! But because he could jump around and chant 5-yeee he warmed all of the globalist's hearts. This guy really is a managerial clown and a rich one at that. Supposedly the highest-paid man in Sweden. Why does he live in Sweden? I guess CEO of a domestic telecom is one of those jobs that Americans don't want to do.

I don't think he will make it past the next stockholders meeting - he has trashed the stock value over the last five years and needs to go. If he had any integrity, he would just resign.
