Keep in mind that there is hub in India that will be able to fill all positions eliminated in US.
That’s not accurate. Hub locations are for specific business units. For example all Product Marketing has to be in Dallas even if they live near a hub in other states. Move on your own dime as well. Additionally have to apply for your job if you decide to move.
This sucks. That is all
They’re not gonna back fill these jobs.
There’s a never ending hiring freeze going on, so you’ll just absorbing other people’s work for the same pay if you are in a hub. They won’t be backfilling and there’s zero chance to advance your career.
Hub folk will get to work 2 or 3 jobs in one.
Only in Dallas and Atlanta. There will be no new posting in other locations except customer facing groups.
First, any person who does not agree to their new reporting location will be separated.
Second, their will be very little immediate backfill of those jobs
Lastly, once the dust settles and it is determined in what roles headcount adds are required, they will be in Dallas or Atlanta.
So if you are in a hub location, whatever your current role is, will be your last role at that location.
