I'm in SoCal and got cut after over 7 1/2 years. I'm completely shocked. The funny thing is I make way less than many engineers who are staying and I definitely make less than typical in this market. They gave me a month of severance - after nearly 8 years. SMDH I think I'm going to talk with an employment attorney.

The math ain’t mathin
Smells like a contactor who thinks they work for Verizon. Severance math is off. Fake or try again.
You can contact a lawyer if you want but if you are management you are an “at will” employee. You can leave whenever you want, and they can let you go whenever they decide.
Yep, fake post, besides the 2-week/year which was announced, California also has more stringest employment rules.
smell fake post
You should get 14 weeks of severance. Two weeks for each year.
That does not calculate correct, when is your separation date?
