Easily...was at bac in 2019 with base of 92k and bonus of 12k. Feb 2022 got bumped to 115k and 10k bonus. Told me I was at high end of range and not to expect increase. Jumped to Wells Fargo last year and for same position base of 145k and bonus of 40k in 2023.
Went from 104k to 185k in a little over 3.5 years....
Key point- Jump when u can..
I was so pi---d bac forced me in after disclosing I got a shot while my co workers didn't come in for nearly 2 years who didn't....
I still tell people how bad the bank screwed that up.
nope, even before 2019 increases were BELOW the inflation rate
decreased at 30%, no increase
Got promoted and still below inflation.
Not when I have to come in to the office. Those that WFH have an automatic $4-5,000/year pay bump since they don't have to pay for gas or car maintenance.
Salary + Inflation = -15%
Salary + Bonus + Inflation = -23%
PLUS doing the work of 3 people since they cannot hire when others leave.
I am quiet quitting. Every extra hour I work = more of a pay decrease for me. F. that.
Including salary increase and bonus cuts + inflation I am around -38%
