What do yall think will happen to retail reps in the future

Not even sure why we still even have stores. I don't know anyone who goes into a cell phone shop for anything.
With the amount of shady ways third party handles things and the astronomical amount of ways they mess up people’s accounts- it would not be sustainable. The quality of sales going on in corporate stores is what keeps retail brick and mortar relevant.
if they replaced US based employees for employees from other countries that work for a 3rd party, why do they need retail employees that work for verizon? convert corporate stores to indirect pay pennies on the dollar. even those that stay verizon AI is coming it will force total reduction of American Employee to total vendor support and AI
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if some leader in VZ thought they were ready to just visible/tracfone the whole company.
Vz has never been able to figure out how to be a leading company.
Shame.
Retail isn’t going anywhere.
Should all go indirect and everything else online like Visible. The only customers who come to stores are the elderly
handing the keys to indirect is just about as half brained as out sourcing customer service to over seas. Cutting off your nose to spite your face. Tmobile has over seas support but they have Tforce a dedicated team of domestic support reps to handle retentions and special cases. Also they phased out their indirects. Look at tmo stock and look at verizon stock. Verizon has always been a follower not a leader.
Given that Hans has run this company into the ground he will likely resort to closing retail stores also. All options are on the table.
If Verizon was smart, they would let indirect take it all and close down corporate locations. Verizon would save a ton on wages, rent, benefits, etc
