This is just the start of Telcom reset/ right sizing. Industry is needing to reduce over the next 3 years. With the advancement of AI and better tools/ application. What use to take 10 people, now only takes 2.
Getting rid of unneeded workers.
At least they are a bit more humane & acknowledge they’re reducing headcount. AT&T is being sneaky & manipulating laws so they don’t worry investors. It’s really a sleazy way to do business & only proves AT&T lies, cheats, & will say just about anything to admit they’re crooked asf. I wouldn’t doubt if the FCC, FBI & DOJ start taking a closer look at AT&Ts books.
VZ offers severance to leave. Not so much at T.
I know a bunch of their cybersecurity sellers were surplussed. Not sure how many though.
