In know names were in weeks ago, but never sure of the date. Now I’m still not sure of the date, but the number is 4-5%.

"Just had more than 2 exec admit they met to talk about more layoffs."

More than 2?

so many only working two days a week and slacking the rest…

No real work done, just politics or kiss a-s to survive

Try July. Get it out of the way at the end of FY23 to start FY24 with “savings”. With every budget cut we’re being ordered to make I wouldn’t be surprised.

June is here, no LRs yet. Maybe June 2024.

Anyone with more than 20 years at Cisco must be laid off!

MSFT yes, but Zoom already faded into insignificance.

Put a fork in Collab, the battle is lost first to Zoom and now MSFT. Also a fork in UCS. Not core business. Not even Cisco internal uses much UCS - they are putting most new stuff on AWS now.

Can everyone in Collaboration! What a waste of money! AR as CMO has added zero value and is soooo expensive! Her T&E costs could save a few jobs.
Why are they still hiring in Collaboration after they just laid people off?

Haven't worked at Cisco in 8 years, but remember the August layoff schedule well. I would find it very unlikely they will layoff anyone in June. Q4 is the biggest quarter of the year, as useless as someone may be perceived to be and targeted for a layoff, they wont touch them and risk the loss of any potential deal.

August? Yeh, i'd guess its going to be a bloodbath based on what I see in the industry.. I could see them ax'ing 10k people easy.

this is given, Cisco and layoffs are by default intertwined. Ask any tech/business grad the last 7-10 yrs, common theme is Cisco equals layoffs. They do not trust that paid "Best place to work.." BS

You guys should stop warning people here... let the bo-b drop out of nowhere. Cisco Recruiters have already started sending automated emails to LR targets about "Jobs they might like".

It's going to be the biggest LR in Cisco's history.

Cisco is bleeding talent. I'd look if I were you. Every Cisco BB layoff just keeps lazy Princ Engineers or middle managers.

I've heard the rumors since Q2.

Hiring freezes have been in place since Q3 in certain parts of the org.

We will never have another layoff ever. I wouldn’t lie to you.

the time frame june/july you mentioned is when aggresive closing of buildings will happen along with huge reduction of lab foot prints, they are bound to cut a lot of blue badged employees and replace them with cheaper red badged employees. We are already experiencing a lot of CAP's and product quality issues with involuntary / voluntary exodus of experienced blue badggers the last few years with layoffs or constant fear of them. This is really terrible.

If June it would be small. This is fiscal Q4, so really they could possibly plan phased small LRs in June/July/August. Haven't heard anything though. Keep in mind Cisco Live is June. That would look bad.
