November 2022 retiree here.
At the end much of our team was in Brazil, China, Mexico, India. Some interaction with Ford North America team.

No RTO for us as our job is 'sight dependent: I need to be able to see my computer screen, etc. ;) We go in 2 or 3 times a month for meetings or events and conference with other locations. @opb - same here - many team members from Mexico and India.
I you care about the environment, just say NO to RTO ! :)

I never stopped working. Still working from home.
Not required or even asked to return to office in Dearborn because our team is getting our work done from home.
Half the people on our team are in Mexico or India anyway.
