It would appear that there is a lack of trust with "leadership".

This post is obviously satire….no one actually believes this. Legere built T Mobile from nothing to number 1 in the same time T went from 1st to 3rd, that tells you everything you need to know about ability and decision making at the top.

I clicked on this not to read all of it or the comments. Only to down vote. Stankey and Stephenson before him have to be the worst CEOs. A lot of companies get a lemon. We’ve had 2 in a row that have destroyed so much value. Old Ed wasn’t great but not nearly as bad as these clowns.

How about if we give Stankey some leather good for Christmas this year...?

A belt in the mouth and a swift boot in the a$$ to leave!

Nah, Stank can suck on every ball of every employee and take a long walk off a short pier. There is nothing remotely ethical about the guy.

In reading these posts about Leadership(C-Suite, ect) some things have come to mind.

Some comment about how managers should support this decision or something blah blah blah. Maybe it was sarcastic, but assuming it isn't - The thing is T leadership long ago shut down lines of communication, and any leader beyond a certain level that would push back and not blindly support things like RTO/Relo are gone(likely involuntarily). Like the leaders at the helm before/during and after the Chernobyl disaster, the C-Suite incentivized the behavior that created that disaster.

https://waltrakowich.com/lessons-from-chernobyl-the-fallout-of-poor-leadership/

An excerpt(there are also good paragraphs on trust):

Most leaders don’t oversee operations like those at a nuclear power plant, but don’t think that any of us are immune to the trappings that ensnared many of the players in the Chernobyl saga. All leaders face the same temptations to cut corners when it comes to money and time, to put profits ahead of people, to respond to problems with pride instead of humility, and to build walls that shut off communication rather than highways that promote it. And all leaders face consequences from the types of cultures they help create. Those consequences might not prove fatal, at least not on the scale of Chernobyl, but they are no less real.

Anyone who simply "gives" trust is a fool. Trust, as others noted, is earned. If you can provide a way in which Stink has earned any trust or loyalty, please let everyone know.

Truth is Stank can't borrow any more money to lose on a pet project...like his fun stint at WB hangin' with the movie stars and drinking water out of glass....all he has left to "fix" is free stuff like screwing the employees with predictable results like he got from DirecTV and Warner...after handing TMO Billions to bury AT&T with (in process).

See how many employees he can get to quit without paying out a severance. Saw on Yahoo news AT&T had "Generous relocation" packages - knew that was a load of cr-p...maybe if you're a VP. Who would want it anyway - you can't trust AT&T to not sc--w you immediately after the move anyway then you're stuck in Dallas to self move back out.

"Time for
Stank to go shopping for his Easter Bunny suit so he can cheer us up ."

Considering the time of year, I was thinking more that he could dress up like Apollo Creed in the original Rocky with a George Washington wig, to welcome people to the Dallas office after the 4th.

He wants you!

Stankey has a BS and MBA from the WW2. His brainpower is obsolete. He is inefficient in today's world. He is no longer relevant. AT&T needs a CEO that lives in this modern world.

Trust is earned, you don't get it by title or position. Stankey and leadership team isn't getting job done. Need massive change at top of company.

If he would have done nothing it would have turned out better. He and the Okie put us in this situation.

Give trust to a man that has lost over 110B in Market Cap. Absorb more debt that is greater than some most countries GDP. Respect is earned, not giving because of some title. Time for Stankey to resign.

Our leadership is telling us, clearly, that they don't trust us, and they're showing us we should never expect any loyalty from them... Why in the world would we give them any of our trust and loyalty in return?

Forcing people that were effective while working remotely for years to move across the country for no good reason not a "hard decision", it's a d-mb decision, and it tells us that he's not actually a good leader. He's a manager, but no leader at all.

We had a chance until Randell and Stankey went of on a tangent of buying into the media business in which we had NO business being in. Now AT&T has a crippling $135 BILLION dollars of debt and it is questionable if T can repay without cutting the dividend to zero.

Let’s give our CEO our trust and loyalty? Get the fhuck out of here.

T Stock $15.50.

It’s shocking to know a lot of the posts on this board are 'made by company managers. Management employees should be supporting and leading the implementation of new decisions/policies.

What has JS done to show he can lead or handle the responsibilities the job requires. He was part of the TMobile deal, DTV and Warner Bros. All of those were massive failures from any perspective. Each of those business deals out is on the current situation.
