“ Company leadership disagrees with you. Period.”

Company leadership has destroyed this company, they have been wrong on nearly every plan / initiative for the last 15 years. This plan will bo-b as well!

“I have been TW for many years and do a great job, there is ZERO need for me to be in an office.”

This has nothing to do with getting back to normal or to pre-Covid. It is a way to reduce headcount without using the terms layoff/surplus and cull out the older workers, period! I have been TW for many years and do a great job, there is ZERO need for me to be in an office. Collaboration is a BS term/excuse for this, a total smokescreen!

If noisy workplace (you know, the people who show up early, loudly parade around talking about working, but never actually working, and dump their work in you at 4:45pm) and it’s difficult to concentrate, talk to a doctor. The Job Accommodation team has a form for your doctor. You’ll get an office or an exception to work for home. You might need to come in a half a day a week to listen to the blowhards or you can just close your office door to drown them out.

Rinse and repeat: this is all about financially incentivized companies assisting their crony CRE pals forcing people back to the office to to help prevent a CRE bailout. It’s also a discreet way for voluntary head count reduction by forcing employees to relocate in order to keep their job

Agoraphobia maybe. But don’t get caught leaving your house ever again.

Social anxiety, Explosive diarrhea, driving amnesia.

There are hundreds of us, if not thousands, that have ALWAYS worked virtually because we are sales and have accounts in multiple cities and states. This initiative has nothing to do with returning to the ‘way
it was before COViD ‘ for us. COViD made us have meetings with customers via WebEx, Zoom or other conference platforms
vs meeting in person. This new change will entail a complete upheaval for sales, the internal partners that support sales, and ultimately, have a negative affect on our customers.

The 10% was just a carrot to give people hope. There will be not TW request approved.

Job Accommodations

I'd expect unless you're bubble boy, look forward to going to the office.

why they h3ll are so many people against going back to the way things were in January 2020?
  1. I was full time telework prior to covid.
  2. You're completely ignoring the change in what office is acceptable.

many people will or are being told to relocate across the country for their job.

This isn't a return to normal at all.
I'd love to return to January 2020 when my office had a gym. its gone now.
When we had an IQ Bar. Its gone now.
When i worked from home, and went to the office only as necessary.

I wont have a job and you want to say 'stop whining' make it like January 2020

"This has nothing to do with Covid" \

??

What rock are you living under. Accommodations to work at home were ONLY because of covid. STFU and stop complaining. I agree the company is a dumpster fire, but the reality is, they want to move on beyond all of this cr-p. What about the people that worked from home for many years before all this mess -- they are now caught up with all the whiners and being asked to comply also. The soccer moms that took advantage of the last 3 years need to get back to business as usual -- yes, thet may entail putting little Johnny back in day care so your co workers no longer have to hear him cry on every D@mn conf call!

Because stankonia and mcleturd don't do anything and get paid big bucks to sc--w the company seems like a fine reason to me. Meanwhile...the fine union workers sit in their trucks all day and ask for overtime so they can "finish" the job. So pretty much everyone foocks off except you. They expect you to work.

Stop trying to weasel out of reality. +1 on previous post.

BTW, why they h3ll are so many people against going back to the way things were in January 2020? Life was actually pretty F'ing good pre-virus times. I don't agree with the way this is being handled either, but people need to grow up and face reality. Everyone went home for a reason -- That reason no longer exists ! GTFU!!!

LOL!

If you have to ask, you aren’t eligible. COVID risk is now minimal.
