June 1 starts our RTO. I say FRTO. Listen up Charlie and Hr in India. If I have to go in my schedule is as follows. In at 10. Leave at noon for my 3 hour lunch which includes shopping and drinks. Leave at 3. I have my 2 hour commute built in to my time on both ends. While in the office I will be watching all the shows I have taped. So looking forward to my 3 days of fun. The other two days I work remote is when I will get my work done.

I’m a Lead Software Engineer, no college degree and make 168k. Grind away, make your dreams come true. The traditional path is not the only path.
MBAs from anywhere but a top tier school are more money than they’re worth. $150k salary is not that high. It’s not low but people with MBAs from top tier schools make double that.
The degree you need is the one that gets you the most options over time and, for this thread, the one that is niche enough not to have to RTO.
Ok now bash the degree, can you offer an alternative it what your degrees were in? Neuroscience?

You are paid to do a job, salary or hourly. You are evaluated on your performance. There is nothing in your employment deal about commute times, dog-sitting issues, and taking kids to activities. Can't wait for the complainers and scammers to get canned. Ruins the environment for those that care and want to do a good job.
No, F that, THEY can leave. These A-holes in Hudson Yards showed up like 3 mins ago and they will be leaving in a year or two. Who cares what they say? They are irrelevant. We make the company all the profits, they just harass / abuse employees, lay people off, and cause scandals.

Too bad for you that while we were all enjoying working remote you were forced back in office during COVID. Are you one of those bitter old employees that need to be axed out of their misery? You’re a tool. My RTO started March 2020 and I’ve been going ever since. Life is just fine. It’s called work.
