Any HMCs on here getting retention bonuses like they did last year?

They’re paying out rentention bonuses again this year?? Wow. I figured Charlie would just let everyone walk?
I can confirm that bonuses were paid. There were people some people on my team that received them.

Yes, some people were paid “retention bonuses” last year when they took wfa and wim away from the non coast markets. Not all, but some get got it and were asked by their leadership to keep it quiet. It was 5bps extra monthly and then an additional 5bps at the end of 12 months on total volume.

Please tell us how and when retention bonuses were paid to mortgage bankers? This is the first I’ve heard of it. Chuck is actively trying to shrink the business, he doesn’t even care about the top producers.
Are you crazy? Mortgage is dead and Charlie has made that crystal clear that they are getting out of the business. Why would they pay anyone to stay. They want you to leave. They have laid off thousands of mortgage people.
I was an HMC that got laid off in Feb. decent producer but not a 9 figure producer……I never got a retention bonus and was unaware of anyone that did.
