I find it amusing that the people that actually did work under Raj Atluri got laied off by Raj Atluri's suggestions and now he gets the hammer... So were the people under him worth keeping Humm Tim Kropp you had the wool pulled over your eyes... you should have been more involved in SOC than taking suggestions By an id--t..

I been here for 2 decades before we were DST or SS&C. People ask me why I don't go for a promotion and my answer is everyone outside of entry level and has tenure gets laid off. No way around it. Sorry but it's safer being the little person in this company. I have seen threw the years all our benefits go away. I remember getting stock bonuses every 5 years into a computershare.com account. 5 shares on your 5th anniversary, 10 shares on your tenth anniversary.... etc... when SS&C took over I sold them and got a fat check for $3,000...... To everyone here when we are DST, lets say started 2012 or earlier contact computershare you probably have stocks to sell and not realize it.

My experience with the company seems to indicate that it is slowly dying. Too many lay-offs. If I were still there, I would be worried all of the time!

@5dvp+1mZReBlz Well depends if you want to go the long haul for what they are giving you as of now is chump change compared to a 1.2 million dollar lawsuit especially if you already landed a job.. don't sign the papers right away you have time find a new job and contact a lawyer and make them wait 6 months to replace the position if they fill it before 6 months they have an issue. usually they will look at all who signed then once in the clear they slip in and fill that position..

When you accept the company's severance package, you sign away your rights to sue for age discrimination, or other grievances. Don't want to sign? - kiss your severance payment goodbye.

I was fortunate in having over 30 yrs with the company, so l got a years salary plus an additional lump sum equal to 6 months health insurance premiums. Don't know if this is still the policy, since this happened awhile back.

So is there a sign up list to be layed off next? I just want to know if those let go got severance packages like a few years ago at 2 weeks per year. Those layed off are skilled and as for over 40 years old most employees are or were here for over 20 years.. and it’s not high paid when you can do doordash for more an hour than from a 20 year job.

I heard the ares of security systems were badly affected thats why their head honcho is name checked in this list, probably, poor guy probably not his fault and have to just cut some money from somewhere.

Its a numbers game and shareholders are king - they need a dividend pay out they are happy with too.

SS&C have terrible people comm skills, but it comes from the top - look at the townhalls from Bill and Ted (I mean Rahul) and you will see what I mean, clueless and out of touch, would not recommend this company as a place to work or make money (unless you like kissing a$$) then this might be the place for you.

When bill can continue in same role for decades, why can't others? obviously, bill didnt work. It employees who worked and build this empire. but today, he is laying off the pillers of the organization. my point is, bill started layoffs since past 4-5 years, did it add single penny to share price? never right? Think differently bill, not lay offs. get business and introduce technology into it.

I keep seeing posts that there were layoffs, but never any mention of impacted business units. If this was a widespread layoff, then we should know by now how many were let go and from what areas of the organization. Just having a hard time buying into this.

lets keep acquiring all or parts of companies (at least 4 last year) then turn around and say we can't afford to pay you a bonus or raise this year, and start laying people off.

Yep. I Just got the call this morning for a "Work force reduction" Their IT Security is an absolute joke. Its going to be even worse now since they just fired all of their security analysts. If you have money with SS&C or do business with them... pull out now.
