First they came for the Tellers
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Teller
Then they came for the HMCs
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a HMC
Then they came for the techies
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a techies
Then they came for the Marketers
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Marketer
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

It sucks to be a human - There are outsourcing, H1B visa, H4 visa, OPT visa, L1 visa, technology automation and AI.
Then there are student loans, massive inflation, excessive living costs, health insurance, tax, de-dollarization, cars replaced with flammable EV, and shrinking career prospects.
Even schools costs less than $5000 per year in India and China. Their living expenses are low, and they are having all our jobs. Then our Bill Gates says America needs to be fair and responsible to give them more jobs.
fire the rude casheir in the cafeteria who to busy playing with their phones and acting like miss thing to satisfact they customer
Keep up with your skills to do d other jobs. This is just as the world turns moment and it can suck for individuals. Jobs are constantly becoming obsolete while other jobs grow. Look manufacturing. Now technology is able to replace some "white collar" jobs.
Please come and take the worthless lazy mortgage processing managers! They are not needed nor will they be missed. My manager supervises 4 people as the other 5 on my team got knocked out. She does nothing and is never available except to look to see if we missed a call on her telephony report.
Commercial real estate bankers and commercial C&I bankers are safe forever. AI can’t wine and dine their elite clients. CRE Banking is where ya wanna be if you wanna survive and thrive.
then the ATMs came.
Then the AI-generated techs came...
Then the robots came....
Very well said
This reminds me of those James Bond movies where Bond would sleep with any woman he wanted to.
He didn't ask, he just did it, and then sped off in a silver, European sports coupe wearing a suit.
Anyone calling for unions needs to remember one thing.. dues. Sure they may get you a bump in pay to cover the dues, but what else will you get? We’re not an airline or a trade. We’re a bank. There are very few jobs done here that can’t be offshored (outside of a branch, and even that’s not guaranteed anymore). Trade one hat for another but the label on the inside is still the same “Made In Misery”.
Oh for F's sake, we have seen this before, Thanks OP.
Same sH&t every day.
Is this post a call for unionization?
You have to admit, it'd be hilarious if Wells employees unionized.
Halfway into a town hall, someone unmutes their phone and says "put a sock in it, Scott!", and all he can do is look at the webcam with a d-mbstruck look on his face.
I'm sorry, but this alone would be well worth the union dues, and I'm not normally very pro-union.
Unions make life more hilarious.
I felt it when they replaced us with H1B, and outsourced my career field.
It was fine when it was first just call centers. But now, it is just too much.
Is this the haiku?
@OP should have had the ba--s to defend themselves and their coworkers.
You're a shareholder, speak out!
