What is going on with hiring

Does anyone else have the worst management in stores? Our store just got a new AM who has no idea what is going on….. doesn’t know up from down! Under a year with the company and no other previous manager experience?! stands around in a sh$!@y mood all day and acts annoyed calling us buddy and bud. We are not your buddy!! And stop threatening to digital locker everything and go to hr if we don’t slam accounts and shove quotes down our customers throat. Is this where we need the union to put a stop to this, bud? Only reason he has the job is he’s friends with the new GM! This isn’t a gym to work at. South mountain and ray need some managers that can actually help out and not stand around with hands in pockets not knowing what to do!

I have many photos in my phone of the Ast mgr sitting on the sales floor looking at his phone playing video games. I do this because of many reasons! How long does VZw keep these non productive people in their stores. They bring nothing to the revenue of the store! Our location has had 8 ast mgrs in the last year. Many days the reps open and close the store without the help of the mgrs. It’s a revolving door of one worse than the prior one.

Couple months ago they sent out a survey asking about managers and the role. Also there is an adjusting to changes in the business call for managers at the start of May.

I believe it's Company wide regarding the ineffective store mgmt team in a lot of the location's. Our location has had 3 Gms and 8 Asst managers in a year. It's a revolving door of how little the company believes in a stable workplace and with each new Asst mgr the ways they find to do nothing. Also,coming in late or going home early. The time manipulation must be astronomical.The reps have keys and can open and close the location without them thus they take advantage.They delegate everything they hardly will help or get involved with customers in any situation unless when we're busy and only if they have too.Some things I've seen in the last year One am constantly eating in the back never on the floor, another doing Merchandising all day (some signs and phones) lol for his whole shift ,and the ones that only stand by the door and greet people walking in? With the reps getting store keys and exception logins I would think that stores wouldn't need as many non productive individuals as they currently have.

this is the same poison and part of Verizon's culture all throughout the Southeast FLui region and to be precise (FT Lauderdale region) Specialists throughout the district are secretly contacting Union representation. Guess we are all sick and tired of the threats and harrassment from the AMs and GMs. We all need to unite and expose the shady and unethical practices. Constant threats for the last 2 years!
