Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

This!

They just laid off hundreds of sales, including top performers. WF will never be successful when they keep hiring entry level processors. Processors are the key to smooth transactions. Most processors here don't understand what a loan is, much less a mortgage transaction. Most of their work has been shipped to India so they often don't even see the file.

So much this. Posted by @dwt+1mcWqy4B.

Yes they have been laying off processors since last fall. They are not done yet. Get rid of the processing managers. There is where the real problem is. One manages 4 people. Not one manager in the hubs. They all live out of state all the way to the top of processing. These so called managers should have the same rules of living within 40 miles of the 4 hubs or be laid off like the processing team. Then the managers should in the office 5 days a week doing their actual job instead of being at home doing nothing.

Then India ships their people here to take over our remaining jobs. Remember, labor shortage!

Mortgage processing is at the lowest performing ever. They laid off 30 plus years experienced processors and now we are stuck with people with no experience and no customer skills. Most of them have no clue and can’t type an email. The processing managers are even worse. We in sales can’t get our loans done. We have an idea. Get rid of all the incompetent managers and processors and bring back the seasoned experienced processors. The experienced ones can handle 40 loans compared to this current Charlotte crowd that can only handle 10 loans. Whoever made this stupid decision should be fired.

Mortgage shrinking at Wells is entirely intentional and has been communicated to the press.

As such, it would be strange if there weren't reductions in staff.

As far as the capabilities of those remaining... Wells doesn't care because, you guessed it, mortgage is on its way out.

Then reply to your emails faster and don’t be so blatantly unwilling to help. Bye Felicia.
