Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

1/2 BILLION dollar TX location =

= Forced relocation

= New 5 day RTO to justify expense

= Significant financial support for a state/governor that clearly does not align with WF DE&I strategy (which is a smokescreen, clearly, as actions speak louder than words)

= One of the biggest “work-farms” in the Wells footprint…

= add your own ideas….

lol, doesn't align with DIE. You haven't been to TX have you? White guy is very clearly a minority here. He-l, there's lots of parts of TX where English is the second language. I guess it's not "diverse" enough for ya though. Gimme a break.

There are plans that of they need more space, they'll build a sister building.

Good for thought. Those 10 stories aren’t enough to hold all the WF employees in North Texas 5 days a week… unless they REALLY plan to start laying off in Texas (which they aren’t). No assigned desks. A large number of us without peers or management on site (my peers are all in Manila). It’s a smoke show for tax incentives. They’ll keep the building as occupied as they need to to still take advantage of the state and local perks, but I expect that the building won’t be utilized to capacity. That would be a detriment to the community (traffic, noise, and air pollution) in addition to just being an overall blight on the landscape (Texas is to capacity with EMPTY corporate campuses as it is. Toxic corporate real estate anyone?🤮)

I think India is far worst than TX given they are moving away from the dollar and are aligned with Russia. I would worry about this first.
