Is anyone hearing about another round of layoffs? If so, any idea when, and is there a specific business area getting impacted? Thanks!

I don’t know but I feel like the week after quarter end is consistent with what’s happened in the past.
I also read an article on yahoo finance that the PC market is rebounding, but the suggestion was to go with HP and not Dell.
The rumor about APEX seems likely. Jeff Clarke only tolerates new initiatives so long before he likes to know how many PowerEdges it sold. If it doesn’t ship more pizza boxes, he’s not interested. They’ll start gutting APEX soon I’m sure - it hasn’t gone far enough to be a real cloud alternative so I’m sure it hasn’t shipped much yet. This is why Dell will never really make the transition to services and solutions - our tolerance is too low for any given idea to not be selling more units immediately.
