Hmmmm: Development goals for 6G

The next generation of telecom may be years away, but starting to plan for 6G wireless telecommunication. On Friday, the White House is scheduled to meet with corporate, government and academic experts to begin developing goals and strategies for the new 6G communications technology, according to a Wall Street Journal article https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-begins-planning-for-6g-wireless-communications-246868d0 -- The technology would ostensibly take cloud computing and the mobile internet to new levels of use.

Vestberg and his pals have turned the company into a third-world flimflam. The company is way out of touch with customers and has abandoned its fabled network for some Blackrock phone fantasy.

Until Hans and more than a few of the board are gone, this stock will be questionable.

The goal is to not even begin it. 6G is hopeless just like 5G. The future going forward is to sink every cent into building the FiOS network since that's the bread and butter of what this company is and always will be. This is a landline corporation.

5G is a standard bunch of European metrics imagining and an all-inclusive super fast always-on network. This magic was being sold by nonscientific, non-engineering, comic book readers turned incompetent managers. 5G is the perfect living example of The Peter Principle. in that the characters who pushed this were starving other programs and 'Network' investments to fund this globalist fantasy.

The Harvard Business case for this one is that globalist managers, take control of a US Telecom giant and transform its best-in-class networks into fantasy 5G and a race to the bottom in telecom service.

Xfinity has 10 g as speed. This is about the wireless network itself. 5 g is the standard today. Man some folks have no clue.

6g lol..... xfinity has 10g ? Lol sure they advertise that ... yet speed tests at router only gives 1.5 D and prob less than a gig up lol.... if we were smart ... they would use govt money to run feed lines out to rural areas and start bouncing traffic off of every customers router privately.... this will help increase reliability..... then they can start stemming Fios off the main trunk cheaper.

Will 6g involve putting long cords on our phones to plug them into a port to receive a signal?

We should have known that 5G was a loser from the start. Think about it. This idea did not come to VZ from the engineers but from an accountant, c-m failed CEO from Sweden. That alone should have been the tip-off for the board of directors, but I guess not when the board is comprised of mostly woke not technical sinecures.

Are you kidding me? How much have we invested in 5G with no ROI? It's getting crazy, why upgrade the network for no apparent reason?

Well we have the best man to work on it, J The meatball. “6g, we talking 6 gallons of gravy for Sunday sauce”. We can’t get 5g right. Is this coming from sleepy Joe??

6G is simply 5G but with standards. It will not make a difference to end users.

NO WAY is there going to be a push for 6G anytime soon. They haven't gotten enough ROI for the 5G bands that are just being finished up and no blockbuster product from it yet.
