Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I love working here

Just don't want to lose my job. Best place i've worked out of the 4 other companies I've worked. People don't know how good they got it, tons and tons of vacation time PTO and Holidays galore, full 6% 401k match, a bonus that actually is paid out well, good medical choices. Anyway happy Friday.

I loved working here as well for the first couple of decades. The third one not so much. I love it even more since I got packaged out and no longer need to work. Still have addiction to looking at this site to see when "Tech is affected".

I used to love working there. 19 years because of the people. Company has turned to sh-t in the last 5ish years. There are plenty of better company’s out there.

People who claim they "love" working for Wells are generally low skilled employees who got into the role by luck and don't have too many options outside. Anyone who is average or higher skilled absolutely hate how they run the company.

Yet you think you're highly skilled but still can't get a job outside of WF. 😂

I just joined Corp. Risk... Did I just make a big mistake?

Be happy you're not in the risk team. What a mess of incompetence.

I also love my job. High producing mortgage underwriter. Good pay, 401(k) and excellent PTO. Doesn’t mean I don’t hate what the C suite is doing. Doesn’t mean I don’t fear layoffs. But I do love my job. Just hope I can keep it.

There's only two benefits I give a S about. WFH and the 401k. Charlie has already F'd with both and he's a total POS for doing so.

This is my third large financial institution employer, and I think the pay is competitive and benefits better than average. However, I am unhappy working for this company due to its pervasive mismanagement and disorganization.

I shudder to think what the other 4 companies you worked for were like. Perhaps a state prison, sewage treatment plant, jr high school cafeteria or a funeral home. Wait! Those are actually better places than this sh@t hole. Get a grip on yourself. It is not a matter of if but when. Keep skipping along!

I loved my work until H1B came and pushed me out.

I lost my career and missed my work.

Oh I loved working there too until after 30 plus years they laid me off. So don’t think they won’t get rid if you too. The love fest does not go both ways. They have no regard for tenure, seniority, loyalty or experience. Always have an updated resume ready to go. People asked me continuously how I could work for crooks.

My first reaction was: Is this Corp Com?

But assuming this is straight- up, I’m sincerely happy that Wells Fargo is working out for you. I’ve watched them burn too many people through the years. So I hope they are smart enough to take care of someone who is happy to be working for them. Take care.
