you're welcome to go work at raising cane's. most of the fastfood restaurants by me are paying $20+ hr, have fun
Great. I'm sure the company will respond with yet another 'minimum wage increase'. Time and again they have done this, and every time they ignore the problem of "squeezing" employees in roles a step or two above entry level who's pay does not increase as fast. It makes the company a decent place to start out at, but not a decent place to stay and succeed, and that's actually a bigger problem than insufficient starting pay.
