Go review the layoff pages for your biggest competitors, if that doesn’t tell you what you need to know about HON. Employees should mass quit instead of waiting to get mass RIFd.

There’s a major leadership problem at this company. They are all grossly unqualified and beyond arrogant and there are way, way, way too many of them. Those traits together? Bad news for the rank and file as well as the customers. I wholeheartedly concur- get out ASAP and if you’re thinking of joining? Don’t. You’ll regret it. Unless you’re someone who enjoys toxic work environments, Honeywell does seem to attract those types.

To add to the last post, at least in my department we have had difficulties attracting good talent. A lot of people have dropped out of the interview process and new employees are quitting at the 12 months mark.

It doesn’t help that company had a big bribery scandal a few months ago.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to work. I’ve been working my a-s off all year, working through vacations and sick days. I am willing to be loyal to a company that treats me right. I lost my gratitude and positive attitude when I got an unhelpful boss who is repeatedly condescending. HR is not helpful. My 3% raise doesn’t come close to helping with inflation. There is such a high turner on teams I work with, and people don’t know what they’re doing. Some people are having breakdowns and for good reasons. I’m sure you’ve seen comments from people who have been hospitalized from being overworked. Others are leaving because their bosses don’t have the time to provide basic training.

Meanwhile, a lot of people in management and leadership positions just blame employees for problems and there is no meaningful change. VOE is a lot of lip service. Teams are suffering because we are told there’s not enough funds to hire people, but the executives are still getting their huge bonuses.

I work with teams that yell at each other. It’s all around a toxic and unproductive environment. I wish I could make it change, but I can’t. I wish I could have the same gratitude and optimism as when I first started this job, but I would be lying to myself. The only thing I can do right now is to mass apply to jobs and get prepared to be treated like a worthless POS by my boss on Monday.

I will never retire.
Nobody has any clue how I keep factory machines working and when assigned new grads as shadow learners I just help them with resume submissions. Why in heck would I care about “kcat”? Put some money on the table.

Retirement plan is to die in my sleep at my desk hidden away here in the corner of the building. My site leader has me on speed dial and my boss-in-another-country couldn’t find my desk without an escort.

What's up with all of you losers who complain how Honeywell is such a bad place to work. I think Honeywell is a good company to work for but it's for those who actually want to work. If you are lazy, leave the company, if you complain constantly about the company, leave the company. Honeywell has a lot of great products many of which save lives and keep you safe while flying. If you don't like Honeywell then leave the company and quit complaining, there are many good people who would be willing to take your positions in a minute.

I’m 59 so close to retiring. I’ll just wait for the RIF. We’ve saved and planned. It seems to get worse all the time but I’m across the finish line. I just want severance on principal

I think the RIF is soon as my boss keeps asking if I put all data and reports in Teams folders every week

Plus, wouldn't it be sweet to sit across the table from a Honeywell salesman or project manager and have them recognize you? Or at least you can ask them if Honeywell has changed it's attitudes towards customers.

A mass quit won't hurt Honeywell anymore than Honeywell hurts herself on any given day. Mass quit and wreck a customer's project? I'll bet you that Honeywell has already wrecked that project and now the customer is just trying to get through it. Your best bet would be to use your Honeywell experience and knowledge to get a new job with that customer. If you do that, you may then be able to provide input on future projects and steer your new employer away from anything Honeywell.

Ah come on man you all dont like doing Career goals which sames as the NEW IDPs, CIs, RPSs, BSSs, Learning Hubs, Accelerators, Haz hunts same near miss forums, COS boards make sure checked green no no REDS please oh another big thing belonging to a Network of your culture (race or gender) list can go on and on that doesn't pertain to out normal jobs. Who the heck is thinking all these things above mentioned? PSH UNREAL
