So many departments at my club have only 1 person open and 1 person close its ridiculous how can you take care of customers and make sure department standards are 100%

it does not matter at our club how much there is to do you must get it done in 40 or under ! We are the model club in our market now. And we do it with less people than any other club in the market. The rest of you must be lazy if you think the work is hard. When you serve great leaders like ours no amount of sweat or physical injury it too much to give. If you are not dehydrating and severely injuring yourself you are not even trying. If you are fat you need to lose weight so when you break a leg it wont be as heavy to drag around when you are running to get those signs hung. Remember, 100 signs in the right color holder and right size and right backer is easy to get done in less than an hour ! Listen up grunt ! If you have no pain Sams has no gain ! No pain No gain ! It is true that the Home Office and the Market pass down goals. It is also true that we the managers here at the local level add to those goals to make us look even better to our bosses. HO wants you to do 4 or 5 skids per hour but we demand 8 ! We coach you because you need to make us look good and if you cant run fast enough or jump high enough to do that you will be coached ! Remember we care about you !
Haven’t had under 40 hours a week since they quit letting us stack in the top steel. Usually close to 50 every week.
i remember clearly-ish it was near Superbowl and 63 pallets of frozen came one night about 11 years ago. i decided to go home on time with all those pallets left outside the freezer cause the freezers were already full . i didnt care if they fired me. the manager threatened me and i said you go ahead and put them in after trying to convince me it was so easy. next day i came in, he said dont ever do that again it took him 9 hours to try to get those pallets in the freezer. i said really? it should have been easy.. so said you. needles to say he got transferred to another store. i still en-devour to persevere
you can't. the corporate lords know this but will tell you that it's possible. when any of your superiors tell that it can be done, ask them to show you. Assure them that IF they can do it, so can you. They must show you though. It is part of their job to teach & train.
