Bereavement leave?

My mother-in-law just passed away.
Is bereavement leave available. If so how many days?

Why you all talking sh-t? Maybe people come to this page because their leadership at work isn’t helping them. Yeah they can look it up on teamworks or ask HR but let’s be real HR isn’t there to be your best friend and if you think that you’re a boot licking bi--h. Also how often do you have free time at work to just search through your teamworks with a self righteous manager who thinks they know get on you for trying to know? I mean you can ask your manager but most of those guys are Mo--ns who just have no idea and get off on luck. My point is people are searching here or everywhere else because Wells Fargo isn’t helping them.

This is the type of dead weight employee Wells needs to lay off. Are you so simple minded you don’t know how to use Teamworks? Took you longer to come to a non knowledgeable web page to get a variety of answers from possible co workers then to go to your provided source. STOOOOPID!

Calm down about how this board is used. This company is inconsistent in its response so people are just looking for answers. When my dad died a year ago and I had to rush to his side I was completely unaware of bereavement time. While I was given time to deal with physically, watching my dad die. I was also harassed about RTO 10 days after his death. You may be allowed two weeks, but it isn’t always honored.

As much time off as you want. Not all of it will be paid for.

This post exemplifies why RTO is being jammed down our throats. A purported employee leveraging a layoff/bytching website to ask (lets assume) a legit HR question.

Not competent enough to search Service Now, Teamworks or Workday. Claims no access to the resources (unsure how that is possible between take home resources, VDI, mobile apps & should have downloaded a personal copy of the handbook when it was available but let’s roll with the punches here).

Is apparently scared to reach out to anyone in their management chain. Likewise must not have any professional relationships with their peers to ask for help finding the information. Is unable to call Wells HR for the information and can’t perform and open GOOGLE search for the information and take it at face value.

All of these layers of failure but I bet you stamp your feet and hold your breath after screaming that you’re “owed” a severance and RTO is all about control because you clearly have the ability to manage your work environment. The only positive thing that will come of your existence is your termination for cause.

while you may not have access to look such things up do you not have your managers phone number so you can call or text them to get the details? I believe there is a 877 hr wells number you can call as well.

I don't understand how people are so incompetent. It takes less time to find our handbook than to post on this site. (There is even a public version of the handbook available with a quick Google search.)

you get two weeks to use over the course of a year. parents, siblings, grandparents and equivalent inlaws count. have your manager enter the days for you or do it when you get back in office. you can also sign up for teamworks at home and access workday and submit.

Type “bereavement” into Teamworks’ search function. Everybody else, consider the possibility that when someone asks easily-answered questions like this, the firm is employing a honeynet approach and monitoring who searches on Teamworks to identify active users of this layoff website:
