Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

The worst company to work for

Without a doubt, the worst company I have worked for in 40 years...only been here 5. Never have i worked in a place where they have to have a person to blame. It is NEVER upper mgmts bad decisions of which there are MANY. They are toxic and really do not care for the workforce.

How many of us feel this way? I'm going to guess too many. And nothing will change until the entire leadership is replaced, which will never happen.

I’m impressed you are here after 5 years. I can barely make it through my first year.

Any basic leadership book will caution about doing all the things that the leadership team does at HON. It’s a worst in class example of toxic leadership. Demean your subordinates, offer nothing in the way of substantial guidance, blame everyone below you on the org chart, take credit for your teams successes, manage up and suck up, be rude and arrogant with customers, promote all your friends who lack experience, gang up on people with less power, ignore supply chain issues, late pay suppliers, demand unreasonable legal terms with customers, threaten everyone who leaves with legal action.

Well, V Kaput is coming in and DairyA-- is leaving so we'll see what that change brings. I suspect the new days under Kaput will make the days under DairyA-- seem like the glory days of HON.
