OK let’s play your little game.

What executive said it?
Where exactly were you when they said this to you?
What was the method of communication?
If it was in print show a pic.
Who else can verify what this exec communicated?

If you can’t answer these believably, this post is a waste of your time. Hope you had fun.

"Why do you even need an SE?"

Cisco needs to maintain a certain number of American employees. System Engineers are easily replaceable and relatively cheap. A role that boosts our American hire statistics.

Why do you even need an SE? These products are easy and sell themselves. Licensing is sensible and clear to the customer. Product ordering is easy for the customer and partner. TAC cases are handled flawlessly. Customers are loving Cisco products without any SE.

When posting stuff like this, bear in mind it is indecipherable to a lot of people and explain what the acronyms mean.
