Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Dismal Quarter, Dismal Outlook, Yet No Action at All?

No even some scrap to placate the shareholders.
Isn't this a bit odd?

So what? Sell your shares and move on. Why ask the folks who are here to share information on layoffs, severance, etc..? Write to Intel's board.

No doubt, they will roll out more "Austerity" measures soon.. give them a few weeks.

Chips Act will not save Intel. Inflation Reduction Act requires Intel to pay minimum 15% income tax.

Of course, the assumes Intel becomes profitable again some day. If it remains unprofitable it will go bankrupt either way.

Can't jeopardize any Chips Act disbursements with any rash actions.
