6 weeks for fathers. Have to have been with the company for 12 months prior to delivery and have worked 1250 hrs.

6 weeks? Damn, that’s crazy lol it’s funny but not funny. There are companies out there that give fathers 6 months off! I left Sam’s a little over 4 years ago when I accepted severance, about the time they got rid of overnights. Best decision I’ve ever made career-wise. I’m in a completely different line of work (WFH) and the moment you start, you have 5 weeks of vacation and the option to purchase an additional week of vacation time. And no, it’s not something you slowly earn, it’s all upfront starting Jan 1st. Past 4 years I’ve had thanksgiving week and the last two weeks of December off, every year. My point is, it’s time to move on and do better yourself and family. It’s insane bc I noticed I bookmarked this page 4 years ago when the rumors were running rapid. I can tell you 100% NOTHING has changed, and nothing will change. It’s like a trip down memory lane, same exact complaints (sometimes valid). Do yourself a favor and actively look elsewhere for work. You’ll thank me later, but more importantly your mental health, and body will thank you!

6 weeks paid but you can extend it for another 6 if you have the pto available… or you can take unpaid for the second half I believe

I am a father and I got 6 weeks. However, you have you have been with the company at least a year before the pregnancy, if I remember correctly. All the info should be on the wire.

*parental leave

Roughly a month but if you're looking for leave with pay and job protection, it depends on how long you've been with the company.

But it REALLY depends on if your manager likes you or not.
