I noticed a lot of posts were removed over the weekend. They didn’t use names or have profanity included in them. They were comments about the CCO and HBT prez

I hope this website continues as well, its the only spot which provides timely and accurate information about life at HON. Most people look at the shiny Honeywell thermostat in their house and assume its a good place to work
I wouldn't be surprised that this board is rather profitable for layoff.com given the participation of the Honeywell employees. This is one of the sites that I don't block advertisement on. I want layoff.com to keep going because I feel they provide a valuable service.
I have to agree with @2bdo This website is all about views and clicks. That's how advertising revenue works. You've noticed all the ads, right? It costs the website ad revenue when they delete posts. They only delete when someone crosses the line.
I don't think the company could get posts deleted by asking. But they could get trolls to post something that would get a post deleted. Probably giving the company too much credit for that idea but it doesn't look like the software and IT folks are doing anything else, so maybe.
I don’t doubt for a second JW would do that if he could, but I don’t buy that story about this site being tempered with. There is a bunch of threads and posts that don’t paint a good picture about him still standing for that to be true, not to mention hundreds of threads more damaging to HW.
My two cents, when we start mentioning him, things get overheated pretty soon, people start crossing the line and call him names, and then mods start deleting posts in rule violation, and sometimes even nuke the whole thread.
I could understand derogatory comments about a certain race or when using real names but the evidence suggests Johnny Boy and possibly BH are having posts removed.
Its probably my comment on BH and VK screwing customers when BH ran SME (Smart Energy, they make expensive, poor quality water and electric meters). Customers paid money and were waiting for shipment. BH+VK asked for surcharge if they wanted delivery. Many customers bolted. HON hates it when specific examples of leadership incompetence are pointed out

Posts here would be libel not slander. To qualify as libel or slander, it must be information that isn’t true. If it’s true or there is any reasonable basis for it to be perceived as true, it’s not libel or slander. If there are no related damages, it’s inconsequential.
You really need to learn that in an anonymous forum, your comments have to have merit because there is no positional authority here. I am sure it feels like flogging your limp ego all around an open window and no one noticing.

You really need to learn the difference between criticizing someone's work and posting insults and slander. Criticism sticks, slander and insults get deleted.

Yes. Let's eat in to the $10 Billion stock buyback plan. Maybe then Honeywell will consider investing in its employees and product development.

You can bet that John Boy pays attention to this site. I think he has posted here before trying to build some rep after he destroyed an SBG. Let's see if this thread lasts.
