How can anyone actually like working here? Like does anyone get any personal satisfaction or fulfillment from their job at this place? It's endless meetings that have no point, doing useless work to fill up PowerPoint decks so it LOOKS like we're actually doing work, id--tic manual process that have little to no value. The public thinks this place is an unethical joke. Morale is so deep in the toilet that there's no way out... RTO has 99% of the workforce miserable beyond belief. VDI is a complete cluster F that made no sense whatsoever. Meanwhile, Chuckles and the top brass keep milking the cow, raking in the millions, while pisssing on everyone else. I'm getting older by the second, and I am starting to feel like every minute I give to Wells Fargo is precious time that I have on this planet that I am throwing in the trash can.

I still think Charlie is a mole, secretly working for JP Morgan, and he's carrying out Jamie Dimon's mission to destroy and de value the company to the point that JP Morgan acquires WF.
Terrible employer. I tell everyone I know not to do business here and they in return tell everyone. Horrible to be plowed and they swindle their customers.
Sad to say it used to be a wonderful place to work. Not anymore. I’m embarrassed to say I work for WF. My job used to be so rewarding. Not anymore. Used to feel valued by the people we work for. Not anymore.

I’ve been doing RTO since January, and now they’re trying to tell me I’m in the wrong location even though my offer letter says it.
I was told ‘the recruiter messed up’ and need to now drive an hour to get to work.
Not gonna happen. Nothing like d-mb decisions like this to decrease morale.
If you’re young, learn your skills and GTFO ASAP. You will do much better elsewhere.
Wells is good for the people near the end of their career as a place to retire. That’s about it.
I started working here at a predecessor company that was rated a Top 50 company to work for in the United States. It was once enjoyable to come to work. Those days are LONG GONE.
I hate what my role has become. I hate doing 3x the output as compared to the rest of my peers. I hate the current Shart cult-ure.
But for now, I’m sticking around and waiting it out and focusing on me and mine beyond work. I don’t put my “heart” into it my WF work anymore.

I’ve worked for 3 companies in my 34 years in the workforce. WF is the worst one. However, the salary is great and I’m not ki-ling myself, although it ebbs and flows. The 3/2 schedule sucks, as I was remote for years. But companies can do what they want, and if this place has gotten to you, then find another job. At the end of the day it’s just a job and you have to be happy. I know people who have left for less money but for a better company; have also known people who have left for more money at a better company. Do what makes you and your family happy/content. I have about 2 more years to work b/f retiring, so I will likely stick it out for one maybe 2 more bonus rounds.
I loved my job too which is why I was here for 29 years. Then I got my pink slip instead of allowing me to retire as I should have had the right to do. My retirement plan was ruined. No one in upper management could care what I am going through. I spoke to a recruiter and my age will now play a major roll in landing a job with another company. They told me being a lifer with Wellswas a huge mistake. Hard lesson learned too late. I gave Wells Fargo 120 percent and in return I got axed.
A lot of people are use this site as a therapeutic tool. Like any relationship that isn't healthy, the hard choice is not the easy choice. Happiness (not the corny kind) also matters in what role you're in (or playing) for how the future can turn out.
At some point it might be helpful to take a 50,000 ft view of your situation at WF and distance yourself from the emotions. Then when ready, make the hard but right choice.
You aren't alone, others clearly feel the same about the company. Surprisingly there are ways to manage and grow from bad experiences. Listen to what the struggle is telling you and use it.
@zhb yes and because we are grown ups we will roll with the punches and find a new job because that's what adults do. Of course no one that's happy in their role thinks we are set for life. We are enjoying our job now and if we get notice tomorrow then we'll update our resumes and move on. That's life!
I've been here for 18 years. There have been good years and bad years, good leadership and bad. Right now I LOVE my job and my manager/leadership. I've been here long enough to realize that your future is in YOUR hands so if you don't like your current situation then have the guts to change it. Either find somewhere else in WF or look outside WF. Why stay here and be miserable??

You love you job now but wait until they ax you. And it is not a matter of if but when. Don’t think being here 9 years means anything. You are just a number and your job like thousands of others will be in India soon. Keep telling yourself you love working here
I love my job... this will be my 9th year with company. Attitude is everything.
Charlie doesn’t give a sh&t about how we feel or what we think. He has single handed destroyed our company. What a horrible place. RTO is the last straw.
