BOD to BF : JF’s gotta go. Who is on deck?

BF: Alexandra isn’t ready yet. What do you think about John May? He is doing well at Deere and he sorta looks like Alan Mulally.

BOD: Let’s feel out John at our next BOD meeting. Meanwhile let’s get all the bad news and cuts done quickly so the next CEO has a clean deck.

BF: I need another drink before talking with JF.

JF - “I can’t find talent”
Truth -“I can’t/won’t get rid of all the people who suck, so I hire more and more people to cover up our suckiness.”

@1vnd+1mpPgeA1 is right!

This is why we should outlaw the demorat party. And honestly, women should not be allowed to hold public office.

The only people who should be allowed to vote are male land owners. I would allow other minority race males - as long as they owned land.

That would fix all this nonsense.

Ford needs to cut at least half of our assembly plant workforce. We need to automate as much as possible.

Our foreign competitors are grateful for $5 a day - or even less! We have to cut wages and require more hours from our plant workforce. This is the only way we will be competitive.

When do they announce job cuts in any meeting? They do all these re orog's to get you in a group where the manager does not know you or whats to get to know you so its easier to fire you, If you get moved try to find a new group where they want you.

You are getting sleepy very sleepy………………..

You know know you remember the moment you lost your innocence with regard to trusting leadership? Mine was when working in a Ford building where people were regularly having gastrointestinal issues and flu like symptoms, especially the smokers. One evening I was working quite late and the facilities staff responsible for the boiler and plumbing happened to be in the break room and we started chatting. I asked why we never had any hot water in the bathrooms. Pregnant pause and then he said if I were you I wouldn’t be drinking any of the water or using the facilities. Turns out they were having difficulties with legionella and “Leadership” chose not to tell the employees.

All this to say don’t be thinking “leadership” will be honest with you. It’s not the Ford way.

tkq+1mpPgeA1 I do not put them in the same category as LEADERSHIP. The trust is not there. Don't be surprised to see cuts before July.

Folks: relax! It is not good for your health. I believe Ford is done through 3Q. There could be some action in 4Q, but that's a long way from now.

Ford top leadership: be a leader and be honest. Your leadership is most important during difficult times.

GM is mis stream salaried voluntaries, contract in-voluntaries, next up salaried in-voluntaries.
Then Ford will swing thru in August and make ‘head spinning’ massive cuts. That is the timeframe that has been leaking for completion of Ford salaried cuts. Don’t get lulled into complacency and make large purchases (house, car, boat). Don’t let the DF posters convince you that all is well.

No cuts planned... Ford is doing much better than GM! We rock and have products that people actually want!

Ford not to follow. Leadership did not mention any reductions at last week's global town hall.
