I’m not even looking for a job and I’ve been cold called by recruiters from Google and Tesla. I don’t see how there are people posting on here who are obviously miserable but seem to do nothing to improve their situation. Don’t wallow in your misery. Get up and do something to improve your situation.

I’ve moved on and am better for it. My goal in returning to this website is akin to flagging down cars on the highway that are speeding towards an unmarked sinkhole. Swerve! Stay alert! Get on a different road!!
And if you’re in the sink hole - get out before it swallows you whole!! Especially the youngsters (under 50!) who will be better off taking their energies and talents elsewhere!

It is very rare for either firm to cold-call as a part of their recruiting strategy. And no, LinkedIn messages from contract recruiters don’t count as cold-calls.
Neither firm is hiring for skills EM employees have.
This is just like the other BS posts constantly going up about some RE employee on a PIP with zero computer skills suddenly landing a job at a FAANG with seven-figure TC and permanent WFH.
Well math over the long term may not be your strong suit or the ability to see life decisions from a point of view other than your own. The land of me-me! Only an "I" in your world! Some people post here with hope that someone in a position that can influence change might read it, make changes so people can enjoy their careers here. So sorry you don't understand others perspective me-me!
