I know of 3 people not in mortgage that were laid off yesterday. Seems to be mostly Tuesdays.
It will continue until they shut everything down. Starting in June they will begin firing people over this whole RTO BS. Then they won’t have to payout all these severance packages. Mortgage is toast.
It was beyond mortgage.
There is a date each month at the enterprise level. Yesterday was it for May
every tuesday is a potential layoff event slot. businesses tend to have one consolidated event per month

Their schedule seems to be Tuesdays and the last round was two weeks ago. Mortgage is a hot mess. I know, I worked in it
