Planning has begun to allow to live day 1 of FY24. SEs are being assigned specialties based on SEER. So if you want to influence which part of the call center you are in, update SEER and speak to your manager about your interests.

Considering the innovation Cisco is doing on their products, a Call center support would be enough. Nothing new, Legacy technologies and products with buzz word names. There is hardly anyone in Cisco who is interested to invest in new "technology". Being a technical person in Cisco is a curse now a days. Anyway the ELT hardly worried about customers.
Great idea. Let the AM’s chase down the TAC, post sales and licensing problems and let SEs work on a technology specialism.

Thank god. Covering the entire portfolio is just stupid. And we get stuck doing the AM’s job fixing BS like TAC and licensing.
I would like to point out that I'm an SSSEM and I confirm everything in this thread is true.
I’m an SSEM and can confirm but I’m not letting my SEMs know until six weeks from now because they are being consolidated.
