Wells Fargo unionization proposal falters

Wells Fargo shareholders voted against the creation of a policy that would have formally outlined framework supportive of worker unionization last week. The measure, which garnered 36% shareholder support, was deemed “unnecessary and not in the best interests of our employees or shareholders” ahead of the bank’s April 25 annual meeting, according to a proxy statement.

Who cares what the shareholders or the C-Suite wants? Knowing they are against it should tell you everything you need to know. The Rich Boys Network only care about what serves their own best interests, therefore you need to think about your best interests as well. The CEO, who makes approximately 500 times his average worker, is obviously not a CEO who seeks what is fair for his employees.

Excellent leaders want to empower their employees, and enlist them as their best allies in serving their customers. Our C-Suite and BOD want to pay you as little as possible and offshore your job. Charlie enjoys the power, control and privilege with being The King, and he doesn’t want anyone coming in and ruining his fiefdom.

I certainly would never want to be in a union. Waste of money, can’t separate/get ahead from bad workers, dues mostly go to elect people who are awful.

36% is shockingly high considering who owns what shares. Regardless, these policies aren't needed for unionization. To be clear, I don't like unions, at all. 100% of the blame for the recent push for them, however, lies at the feet of the hacks in Hudson Yards and their constant attacks on their own workers. They have no one else to blame.
