Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

The Slash and Burn was the Plan All Along

What is happening with WF had to be the plan since CS came aboard. Would not be surprised if there are some back room slice and dice deals already made. Their plans just got delayed due to pandemic.

You would think they could have taken the time to do it less painfully. Oh they could, but they specifically have chosen to do this horribly. Therefore, the cruelty is their intent. It is a warning shot from the big guys - we will do everything in our power to make sure the peons know their place.

Yesterday I had 4 wanks in the office bathroom. How's that for efficiency?

Every manager has increase efficiency as an objective tied to their bonus. That means in order to receive their full bonus, they have to reduce headcount and move jobs offshore.

They need to purge the right people, but mostly good ones were purged so far.

They can F right off, and so can you. No time for production in the office, I'm to busy collaborating. Sorry. Should have thought of that before you implemented a stupid policy with the intention of tanking morale and motivating people to quit. My work will get done, during WFH hours. No cause for term, so they can eat a D.

After being hired as fully remote and consistently overperforming, you bet your a-s I’m watching movies and wasting as much time as possible in office. Just making up for the time and money the “firm” is stealing from me with commute time, gas and miles on my car.

This company has so much dead weight. Plenty of opportunity to cut. People can sit here and complain, but when I see people come to work and watch movies on the phones, I know we can afford to get rid of a few degenerates. Keep coming out here and saying how you are going to fight RTO and watch the cutting continue.

Well life messaging about "opportunities" and mental health awareness month, all the while they're letting people go. That's absolutely gas lighting.

We knew back in 2018 there was a relocation strategy and a great need to repair the damage. The pandemic confused and delayed things but the basic premise was always there.

The mental abuse this company instills on its employees is shameful. Shame on the senior management team. Hope you all realize how hated you are by all employees. Just remember an eye for an eye. What comes around goes around.
