Has anyone heard specifics about WFR? Our group was definitely advised RTO communication will be out on Monday. Generally if you within 1 hour of office, they would like you to come in 1-2 days a week. Out of 11 people on our team, only 3 are within an hour of a Dell office. Don't see the point.

It will start next week.
@mxh+1mtFruuU Stick your head in the sand all you want, but it won’t change the ongoing layoffs or the RTO loyalty tests
Can't see how this will only affect some teams , that's not fair
RTO affecting certain groups: YES
Affecting in what way ?
SOrry. to many holes in this. too many holes.
a big nothung berger
people leader here in AMER , ive been in meetings/discussions that this is coming next week. discussion now is what teams will it apply to and how to make it "fair" for example what if the building you worked in is now closed, but the building left only has room for about half of the people in the area. the tracking part is also a sticking point. managers wont be policing.. it will most likely be HR checking badge swipes from the security desk when you walk in most buildings.
RTO company wide: NOT
RTO affecting certain groups: YES
RTO company wide going to happen.
Only specific groups are infected.
They can provide me with a Severance package.
I'm not going back into a germ infested environment. I have a family member who is immune compromised and I am not going to put their safety at risk.
This is bizarre because my team was local but remote even pre-pandemic. What happened to embracing the modern mobile workforce and all of that?
Either way now is looking like a great time to move somewhere farther away from the office
Yep, RTO email is confirmed. I have heard nothing about layoffs
