Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Union Organizing Settlement with NLRB

Coming to a break room near you (if you actually RTO)... signed by Michael McLaughlin. Does anyone else see a new scandal and fine coming to Wells Fargo as a result of not following what they just agreed to?

Look at the amount of upvotes @zqp has compared to the rest of the thread. The easily bruised ego of the self-styled "high performer"

Who cares. There are about 50 gov required postings in the break room. Nobody looks at any of them

@zqp+1mtd6iuW Uh oh guys, a union might make the rich uncomfortable, perish the thought,.

Also, don't sit there camping on your own comment waiting to upvote it the second someone downvotes it. We all see it and it might even be more pathetic than simping for your employer on a layoff board.

That notice you posted only applies to Wells Fargo Clearing, aka Wells Fargo Advisors. It doesn't apply to the rest of the bank. Also do you honestly think wealthy clients are going to want to keep their money at a brokerage where there is the potential for workers to go on strike and they wouldn't be able to access their funds? I know if I was a WFA client and they become unionized, I would be moving my money out ASAP.

Obviously anyone can look up the workplace REQUIRED OHSA posters on their phone. That’s not the point. Wells Fargo is in violation for not having them posted in the office. If you’re forcing people in 3 times a week, the signage needs to be displayed. No exceptions. It’s Federal law. Irving’s management needs to get it together or expect to have to explain why they ignored it when it was brought to their attention. Last thing we need is more regulatory scrutiny and fines over something completely avoidable.

Is it a legal requirement, obviously. Has anyone in history ever read those posters? No and if you really wanna, there's a gizmo in your hand that can show you all the osha poster info you want.

Maybe if we had a union then the OSHA guidelines that are supposed to be displayed in the work area wouldn’t disappear for months on end. They repainted in Irving not to long ago, and all of the bulletin boards were cleared off and (I’m assuming) all items pitched. Say what you like about posting union materials, those OSHA guidelines HAVE to be prominently posted in workplace common areas as a matter of Federal Law. I’ve notified several members of management who have just sat on it. Guess I need to tip of the Feds.🤷🏻

We can opt out of this garbage if it happens right? I don’t feel like taking a paycut and being unable to stand out from all the pikers out there.

Unions suck. You guys should go work public sector with your “pay grades”.

Maybe, maybe not. I'll probably never know because I don't go to break rooms.

Doubt unions are the answer, but F Hudson Yards, so go for it.
