Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Good for the gander, not good for the goose?

Remember when you didn’t get real salary raises that bear inflation for 5 years?

Well a few employees did!

Compensation by year:

Chuck Robbins:

  • 2020: 23.1M
  • 2021: 25.4M (+9.9%)
  • 2022: 29.3M (+15.4%)

V2Momma aka Maria Martinez

  • 2020: 8.2M
  • 2021: 11.8M (+43.9%)
  • 2022: 12.4M (+5%)

Just keep these numbers in mind and reflect upon the strategies they were using to keep you placated:

  • Bonus to Salary, zero net gain
  • You wouldn’t want a decrease if there was deflation, gaslighting, happened once in the past 60 years.
  • Highlighting DEI, distraction to keep stupid people happy

The exec team at Cisco is trash. They care about themselves and themselves only. I’d love to find Frans salary, I bet it’s similar to these other two charlatans.

Narcissistic CEO's like CR know that granting praise, titles, and monetary compensation creates not only affinity from the receiver but a feeling of obligation as well. The personal agents of the narcissistic leader are rewarded with higher pay, status and job titles, intimate access to the narcissistic leader, public acknowledgment, and protection from poor performance

I'm reading a book on how some people evolved to prey on humans. These are not criminals or mu---rers, but evil people able to hide in large institutions. They enjoy exploiting others and manufacturing chaos as a distraction.

Steve Jobs even denied the existence of his own daughter and refused to pay child support.

We live in a broken system that enabled narcissistic political and business clowns to somehow control all. Only when everyone bans together will things ever begin to change.

Crazy.. I can barely understand V2Momma when she speaks. What kind of exec this high up in chain who cannot communicate.

As long as they can give you people crumbs, just like the government, they can get away with mu---r behind the scenes while you just nod and smile.

Social Security in the US took the elderly from 50% in poverty to 10% in poverty, so the government gives more than crumbs. Likewise healthcare would be out of reach of huge swaths of the population without government assistance. For the few who aren't completely bipolar, the best balance is a constantly changing point near the middle, not at either extreme.

Unlike the private sector there are some who want the government to help the poor, the ill, etc... with the idea that people are innately good and when given an opportunity will rise to the occasion. Since the rest of government, business and people are corrupt this doesn't work reliably because they are all working angles to exploit everything to their advantage. Start with the Powell Memo for the blueprints to transfer control of society to private sector corporations.

The group that suffered the most casualties in the Titanic sinking was overwhelmingly the crew at a whopping 76%.

Good news though, the CEO managed to snag himself a prize seat on one of those boats.

LOL the more things change, the more they stay the same...

I've heard horror stories of how MM treats her administrative assistants as maids. Demanding childcare on trips and requiring a subservient mentality of those in her inner circle.

In MMs defense, in prior years her comp was 19.3M ('18) and 15M ('19). She's actually down a lot.

Some execs at Cisco even receive interest free mortgages as a perk. It's not easy watching the 50 year olds with a family lose their corporate job. There are many former Cisco employees that lost everything.

The sooner people realize that Cisco, and most other corporations, work just like the federal government, the better off we all will be.

They both give crumbs by doing things to pacify the masses. As long as the government promises stimulus checks, welfare, promise to forgive student loans debt, etc, most of you people will be happy and stay quiet. Well Connected Recognition, celebrities on check-ins, and Christmas shut down are the equivalents. As long as they can give you people crumbs, just like the government, they can get away with mu---r behind the scenes while you just nod and smile.
