Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Last leg?

It sure seems like at&t is on its last leg to me. They are flat out running low on cash. The ki-led all projects and scooped the unused funding. They just transferred retirement obligations for 96K retirees to an insurance company. They have sold off everything with the exception of the central offices. They continue to cut employees, need to get down to 85K asap. I see nothing but rough water ahead for at&t. Isn't Stankey just the best?

Good pay. Good benefits. So what's the problem?

I want out as well...hoping to get a layoff notice in June for craft cuz this company is not sustainable in its current financial dilemma! I'm already seeing reduced work loads in my area of the country, barely enough work to keep the technicians busy for 15 hours per week. Soon, the ax will fall!

Falling for middle management and down, looking up for C-suite, see raises and bonuses in their future!
