Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Eligible for rehire?

If a person leaves and only gives a week and a half notice are you eligible for rehire? I doubt I ever would but do not want to burn a bridge. The policy on hr service now is vague. Thanks.

Back when the Wells /Wachovia merger went through (or rather acquisition) dozens of people disappeared on Jan 2, first legal day. We were told that Wells had a STRICT policy and anyone who had EVER worked for them and had given less than two weeks notice was gone. No notice. Just didnt come in at all. If you have ANY interest in returning, EVER, give two weeks.

You can be marked as “no rehire” without committing fraud or a criminal act. It sometimes happens if you were terminated, and the company pays big $$$ for you to leave. (This happens with some executives)

I think it’s manager discretion.

Yes if you leave are on good terms and tou are not ynder an open investigation. ER marks the eligibility for rehire, not the line of business management.

@wwd+1mwFwRBc Incorrect. Managers mark the Workday record when they finish the termination. To my knowledge there is no challenge to a “no” in the rehire question.

Yes you are eligible. They can only mark you as a no rehire if you weee fired for some type of criminal or fraud But why would anyone want to willingly come back to this sh@t hole????
