Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Long term employees

It is amazing that other companies treat their long term employees with respect and value their service. Wells Fargo could care less if you have been here 1 year or 40 years. There legally should be protection for this class if people that have been here 25 plus years and/or 65 plus years. Does it mean nothing for someone to give their life to a company? Very sickening how Wells Fargo treats people.

The stagecoach drove off the cliff and crashed and burned. Trust us that these Indians will all turn on us and Sc--w the company over. Charlie thinks outsourcing jobs to India is the right thing to do. Just wait…….

This group of senior management could never understand longetivity and being a loyal employee. He-l they haven’t been here 3 years. Once they decimate our company they will move on to another company. They could care less about destroying lives and people. They are like the devil. They have no soul. There is a place for people like Charlie and his buddies. Karma is sweet and trust me. They will get their oayback someday

I personally feel very lucky to be working here. JPM is the best company ever. The pay is great, comps are great, I’m treated with respect and the future looks bright. Oh wait…..sorry…..wrong board. I thought I was on the JPM board. Nevermind.

Sc--w Wells Fargo. I love employees that are lifers. They have the experience. They have the answers to our questions. They have the customer experience of how to treat our customers. They have the loyalty never to call in sick like the young inexperienced workers. They covered for people. They were and are the stronghold and backbone of the company. How f&cking stupid to get rid of these people. That is like a sports team getting rid of your star players that score all the points. Wells Fargo senior management is as re--rded as can be. You get what you pay for which right now is the bottom of the barrel.

I tried to hang on for severance, but couldn’t take it because there was a strategy to “encourage“ retirement eligible employees to retire, so they wouldn’t have to pay severance (this was openly discussed in finance budget meetings). They made my life miserable. They were disrespectful and cruel. They were openly hiring younger people to replace older displaced workers, particularly older women.
In the end, I know I’m better off. I wouldn’t worry that you missed out on retirement festivities, because after 26 years all I got was another Lucite in a box that looked like a coffin.

Totally agree with this. None of those management has been here longer than a couple of years so they have no clue or no thought process to any longer ivory and being loyal to a company v they should be ashamed the way they treat people. I can only hope that Charlie and his crooked cronies get axed too

It's not about company loyalty to us, or our loyalty to them. It's the fact that Hudson Yards looks at long time employees as a liability, either tainted by scandal or excessively expensive to downsize. So, in classic douchetard fashion, their plan is to constantly S on the long timers so some will throw in the towel and quit on their own.

I blame the regulators who are political. All these MRIA and MRAs are just bull shot kickbacks for worthless consulting firms who get it as political kickbacks and make billions, some of these are flat out stupid. They tell people not to take about it, bull ill tell you it's bunk. All this increases our expense ratio to crazy high levels and the executives make up for it by shipping ourjobs overseas and out of state. I blame our short sighted politicians.

Sad but true. I definitely have zero desire to start over at another company at this point in life, so I’m sticking it out as long as possible. Charlie destroyed this company.

It's mostly banks that treat their employees like cr-p.

The ride or die loyalty to the bitter end ideology died in the 90’s. Where have you been. Your want lifetime protections and guarantees quit your job and find a union mixed position somewhere.

Wells found profit in hiring H1b and outsourcing, everyone else is just less important.

It's your choice to work there. Loyalty and even performance get you nowhere at Wells. They'll just hire someone from JPM. It's cruel. But the way it is. Move on..
