Does anyone know anybody who left in the last couple of years (both voluntary and involuntary) who regrets leaving WF?
The few I know are glad to be out.

Pretty sure the folks who left for SVB regret it.
How can you say you left 3 months ago and “never looked back“ when you spending your time posting on a WF board? Seems like it has a grip on you.
I left three months ago and I keep expecting to have some regrets, but so far I have none. I worked for Wells Fargo for 13 years and I didn't leave for any particular reason. It was a culmination of years of being gaslight into thinking I was anything other than number to them. The final straw was when I saw how passionate one of my peers was at a meeting. Buying into every empty promise Wells made them. I realized I could never be that way again. So, I started a new career, at a different bank, I another line of business, and I haven't looked back since. I am thankful for the lessons that I learned from Wells. If you can work there for a year, you can work anywhere.

Nope! It was the best decision I’ve ever made! There are a lot of other companies out there (even in financial services) that treat their employees very well! The company I am at now is a GREAT company! Charlie and his leadership are driving the company into the ground!

I know tech who have left and must regret it. They certainly regret it enough to ask about WFH openings at Wells. Some have left for tech and are dealing with the same threats or active layoffs in their tech towers. Leave and get let go as a newbie or survive through the anxiety there or stay here and do the same with the possibility of severance.
I have never looked back upon my 27 years there. I’m much happier in the present and look forward to the future.
I know a couple of people who want to come back who've been "displaced."
I think its mostly because they know you can get away with doing next to nothing and get a paycheck - and a good paycheck at that. Professional level so not talking customer service.
It seems the less you do the further up the chain you go. I personally know a few people who don't actually do a bloody thing - literally almost zero work - who are working their way up the chain.
WF rewards the smooth talkers and those who buy into the DE&I stuff more than people who actually do the work and contribute.
Like everything else it depends on a lot of factors such as who tye manager is/was or which group. I'm in WIM and enjoy what I do and have a great manager. However, if somewhere on the retail bank side? No thanks.

We’re hiring and get a lot of resume’s from people that are former employees (within last 5 years). So i would say there are lots that want back for whatever reasons.
I know people who left for First Republic. Bet they have regrets.
My regret is that I was not allowed to retire out of here after 30 years. Instead I was laid off. Yes I have severance but I had not planned on retiring yet. Would have been nice to do it on my terms. No thank you for your service. No retirement party. Nothing. Never dreamt the end of my career was a pink slip.
Regret that i am still here. Does that count?
