I'm viewing YT close to 6 hrs on office laptop. Should I be worried ? Do managers or IT have some sort of browser tracking app or something ?

Watch to your heart's content!
I spent the last 10 years doing nothing but watching YouTube videos, but I'm a manager, so other that doing annual reviews for my direct reports, I don't have to do anything else.
I watch po-nhub 4 hours/day using intel laptop since last 10 years. So far no problem.
I know the OP is trolling, but the answer is YES, they do know what you're doing on your company laptop. Everything you type, every URL you visit, every e-mail you send, every file you transfer. They log it and store it all.
@OP. I don't believe you. Nobody works 6 hours any more, unless you mean this was spread over a couple of days.
YouTube's OK, as long as it's RTO and not WFH. For Netflix/Hulu, however, a blude badge needs to produce one PPT slide to get an hour of watching. The rule may be different for green badges.
Yes and we noticed, please stop abusing company resources.
Thanks,
Intel IT
FSE’s can watch YouTube infinitely, is that in their contract? Asking for a friend ;)
Does it matter whether they view YouTube or not as long as they get their tasks done as required? Lots of training videos are on YouTube now. You might be behind if you are not getting the training.
Watch as much as you want until your access to the network is revoked when you are laid off. Then you can spend 24 hours a day worrying about finding a new job.
